pubg lite pc steam

PUBG lite for pc was announced in Thailand on 10th January this year.  As seen in the blog by pubg corp. they announced the game as closed beta, that means only a selected number of players can play and test this game.

But yesterday they announced in this blog the open beta of the game, that means anyone with a pc or laptop can play the game. Moreover, the best good news is it is released in steam and it is FREE!! unlike the main pc version of this game.

This version is also made more optimized for lower-end hardware, means even your old potato pc can run this. On the blog post, they mentioned: "PUBG LITE is a game that allows players with a low-end PC or notebook PC (On-Board graphics card) to experience the original Battle Royale as LITE Version of PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS".
Which means most of the laptops can run this game. So, you don't have to use the pubg emulator to play pubg for free. Which was the main reason why PUBG MOBILE and fortnite gained such popularity.

Although it is yet to be seen if it makes it's way to other countries. Currently, you can play this game with a VPN. It is worth mentioning that PUBG MOBILE LITE which was launched in Philipines, hasn't yet launched to India or any other markets.
